GARDEN SCULPTURE

Every David Harber creation is, in essence, a sculpture.

Beyond the functional imperatives of time-keeping, David is inspired by the abstract qualities of light, shadow, reflection and organic structure, and delights in exploring the juxtaposition of contrasting yet complementary materials.

His latest more contemporary creations, are the Heaven and Earth series, which combine oxidised and mirror-polished stainless steel to create dramatic new forms.

The contrasting metals can be interwoven in an organic petal pattern to reflect the landscape around, and mimic the plants and structures found in nature.
