NEW SUNDIALS - THE DARK PLANET
David Harber Sundials unveiled a new piece at the Urban Gardens 2005 exhibition - the Dark Planet.
The Dark Planet is a perfect sphere of river-washed puddle stones that have taken their natural form over centuries and which are all drawn into a tactile sphere. At night-time, light permeates from the cracks and chinks of the pebble sphere creating a heavenly light-emitting sculpture. 70cm diameter.
