GIANT SCULPTURES FOR ZABEEL PARK, DUBAI
Visitors to the workshop during April and May couldn't fail to notice a 2 metre diameter armillary sphere and a giant cube taking shape for delivery to Dubai.
David has recently installed these two giant sculptures in Zabeel Park, Dubai along with a 2.5m high Spiral Cone.
Possibly the most intriguing is the giant cube designed as a tribute to the Arabic chess game. It comprises 6 panels made up of 384 panels of copper and mirror-polished stainless steel, and balances on one corner.
