CHELSEA FLOWER SHOW — David Harber at the Chelsea Flower Show 2004
The David Harber stand at the Chelsea Flower Show — designed by Susanne Jahn — created a formal yet bold backdrop to the sundials. The central feature was a large Chalice connected to a rill running through the stand.
The company unveiled a new sundial, the Andromeda, at the Show.
David Harber explained the thinking behind the new dial:
“The Andromeda is a contemporary twist to a 16th century design. By updating the design and merging the ancient with the new, we are introducing today’s lovers of outdoor sculpture to the magical beauty of a functioning time piece, which successfully combines art and science.”
