NEW SUNDIALS - THE ANDROMEDA

The new Andromeda globe offers a remarkable array of optical illusions. The hand blown glass globe, which functions as a sundial, is illuminated through the glass with fibre optics, creating an ethereal heavenly effect.

It is mounted on a column of reflective stainless steel discs which appears and disappears depending on the angle of viewing. As water runs down the column, it is reflected in the steel discs so that it appears to be flowing up and down simultaneously.
